📘 About This App

暗記の達人 (SpeakDeck) is a next-generation flashcard app that uses voice input, OCR (text recognition), and automatic translation to cut the effort of creating cards to the bare minimum.

4 input modes: Voice, camera OCR, manual entry, and image capture turn any information into cards instantly.
AI Vocabulary Capture (Japanese & English): From a photo, a block of text, or shared/pasted content, the app automatically pulls out the words you don't know and adds them to your deck with meanings. It handles text in many languages — English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese — and generates meanings in your device language (Japanese or English).
Science-based memorization: An algorithm based on the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve shows you each card at the optimal time.
Speak feature: Built-in text-to-speech for English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese lets you learn pronunciation at the same time.

❓ FAQ

Q1: Can I transfer my data when I change devices? A: Yes. You can move your data to a new iPhone using AirDrop. (Note: automatic syncing via iCloud is not supported.)

[How to transfer with AirDrop]

On your old iPhone, open the app and tap the Share icon below the deck you want to send.
From the share menu, choose AirDrop and send it to your new iPhone.
Receive the file on the new iPhone and open it in SpeakDeck — it will be imported automatically.

Q2: Can I use it offline? A: The core study features work offline. However, some features such as automatic translation and high-accuracy speech recognition may require an internet connection.

Q3: Is it free? A: Yes, downloading and the core features are free. We also offer a Premium plan (subscription) for advanced features, such as removing the limit on the number of cards you can create and unlimited use of AI Vocabulary Capture. (A free trial is included.)

Q4: The audio doesn't play. A: Please check that your device is not in silent mode, and that the "speech volume" in the app's settings is not set to zero.
