暗記の達人 - SpeakDeck is a flashcard and memorization utility app that supports voice input, on-device OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and translation.
Most user content is stored locally on your device. The app uses an internet connection only for certain features such as speech processing, translation, and subscription verification.
2. Data We Process and How We Use It
2.1 User-Generated Content (Cards)
- What: Text, audio, and images created by you in flashcards.
- Where stored: Stored locally on your device.
- Developer access: The Developer does not store or view your flashcard content on external servers.
2.2 OCR (Text Recognition)
- What: Images you select for text recognition.
- How: The app uses Apple’s Vision framework to recognize text.
- Where processed: OCR is performed entirely on your device.
- Transmission: No image data is sent to external servers for OCR purposes.
2.3 Speech Recognition and Translation
To provide voice input and translation features, the app may send audio and/or text to external services only for processing.
- Speech recognition: Audio may be processed by Apple’s speech recognition services (or iOS system services).
- Translation: Text may be processed by a translation provider (e.g., Apple / Google / DeepL) depending on the feature and your device settings.
